摘要 <p>The present invention relates to a shock preventing apparatus for a geodetic surveying staff. The upper end spring supporting unit of a ground rod is supported by the lower end of a buffer spring, and the buffer spring is supported by a spring supporting unit formed in the lower end of a rotary shaft. Therefore, even if vibration or shock generated around a staff applies to the ground rod, the surrounding vibration or shock cannot be transmitted to a unit stick through buffering. Oil is injected into the inside of a housing, which accommodates a bearing accommodating unit, the rotary shaft, and the buffer spring, in order to absorb the surrounding vibration or shock applying to the ground rod. Therefore, machinery water can accurately read the markings on the unit stick through a leveler. The bearing housing is fixated to the lower end of the lower unit stick. The outer race of the bearing is pressed in the bearing accommodating unit of the bearing housing. The rotary shaft is pressed in the inner race of the bearing. The upper end of the buffer spring is supported to the rotary shaft to be able to relatively rotate. The lower end of the buffer spring is supported to the ground rod, which penetrates the housing, be able to relatively rotate. The bearing accommodating unit and the housing are connected through a ring to be able to rotate. Therefore, the shock preventing apparatus can remove measurement errors by shifting the direction of the staff, through the spinning of the unit stick while the ground rod is in contact with the ground.</p>
