The present invention relates to an apparatus for fixing a tripod used for geodetic surveying for location confirmation of a ground structure having a reference point confirmed. The present invention include: an upper support bar; three legs of which upper ends are rotatably engaged to the upper support and capable of folding and unfolding; a mount engaged to the upper support bar for mounting a surveying instrument; and a leg fixing unit for fixing the legs to the ground surface. The apparatus according to the present invention is capable of surely preventing damage to a surveying instrument which is mounted on the mount by preventing an arbitrary collapse of a tripod due to wind, external shock or vibration and includes a mount horizon maintenance unit for automatically maintaining the mount in the horizontal state so that the installation and surveying work of the tripod can be rapidly performed by maintaining the top surface of the mount to be horizon by the mount horizon maintenance unit and by mounting a surveying instrument after installing the tripod by supporting the legs of the mount through the leg support unit. |
