A backlight unit and a liquid crystal display device using the same are provided to reduce the manufacturing cost by reducing height difference of substrates by placing LEDs at one substrate. A backlight unit has the following configuration. A plurality of LED arrays has a plurality of LEDs. A bottom cover receives a plurality of LED arrays. A plurality of screws(108) fixes a plurality of LED arrays on the bottom cover. The backlight unit is installed at the center position of adjacent LED. A plurality of LED groups are comprised of LED of the different plurality in which LED of the first of substrate and the third color are generated the white light and the LED array is arranged in substrate. A plurality of threaded holes are formed on the substrate. |
