Microalgae Chlamydomonas strain high-producing lipid isolated from arctic ocean and uses thereof

PURPOSE: A novel microalgae Chlamydomonas ArM29 is provided to accumulate lipid of high concentration. CONSTITUTION: A Chlamydomonas sp. strain is derived from arctic ocean and produces lipid of high concentration. The strain is Chlamydomonas sp. ArM29(KCTC 11695BP). The strain accumulates lipid of high concentration in a lipid body form. The temperature of culturing the strain is 0°C-30°C. A microorganism formulation for producing lipid contains the strain or culture liquid thereof as an active ingredient.
