A switch unit which improves visibility according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a switch; a proximity sensor which senses the approach of a user in order to operate the switch; a color filter which has a first symbol penetrated only by light which has a set first wavelength and a second symbol penetrated only by light which has a set second wavelength; a light source which emits light having the first wavelength which is set as the color filter or light having the set second wavelength; and a control unit which controls the switch unit so that the user is able to see the light of the light source through the first symbol or the second symbol by emitting light through the color filter from the light source depending on a signal sent from the proximity sensor. Therefore, the present invention improves visibility, has an excellent design, satisfies sensitivity of a user, and improves convenience of an operation by showing a larger symbol through the color filter if a hand of the user approaches the switch unit in order to operate the switch. |
