PURPOSE: To provide an aqueous gel that contains an organopolysiloxane usable in the field of cosmetics in the form of make-up foundation or blusher for making up face and/or body. CONSTITUTION: This aqueous make-up gel contains (A) 0.01-30 wt.% of a hydrophilic polymer as a gelling agent, (B) 0.001-10 wt.% of a colorant soluble or dispersible in the aqueous phase and (C) 0.02-50 wt.% of an organopolysiloxane dissolved in the aqueous phase and has an absolute viscosity of 1-100, preferably 5-30 poise. The polysiloxane dissolved in aqueous phase is, for example, a copolymer of siloxane and hydrolyzed or unhydrolyzed protein (1-50 wt.% content), a dimethicone copolyol and its derivative (0.5-20 wt.% content) and organopolysiloxane solubilized using a surfactant with a HLB of >=8.
