The present invention relates to an apparatus for cleaning a belt of a belt conveyor, which comprises: an operating unit which is expanded and contracted according to the existence of loads generated by being in contact with fuel and raw materials transferred by a belt conveyor; a moving unit which is installed adjacent to the operating unit, moves toward the belt conveyor by being interlocked with the expansion action of the operating unit, and moves toward the opposite side of the belt conveyor by being interlocked with the contraction action of the operating unit; and a cleaner unit which is installed in the moving unit and removes the fuel and raw materials at a state of fine particles attached to the surface of a belt of the belt conveyor. During the operation of the belt conveyor, the cleaner unit is in contact with the surface of the belt in a state where the fuel and raw materials are loaded while the cleaner unit is separated from the surface of the belt in a state where the fuel and raw materials are not loaded. The apparatus for cleaning a belt can prevent the damage to the surface of the belt due to a belt cleaner during the operation of the belt conveyor. |
