The present invention relates to an apparatus for preventing access of pirates and a ship equipped with the apparatus for preventing access of the pirates, capable of preventing the access of the pirates by flowing hot water in an upper rail pipe of the handrails installed for drop prevention or access safety of crewmen and making the pirates get burns in the case that the pirates hold handrails to climb up the ship wherein the temperature of the hot water can make a man get burns. For this, the invention comprises the handrail installed for drop prevention or safety of the crewmen; a pirate access signal provider for notifying that the pirates access the ship; a hot water provider for providing the hot water; and a controller for, if the pirate access signal is provided from the pirate access signal provider, flowing the hot water from the hot water provider to the handrail.
