A method for providing additional information corresponding to a query is provided, including: selecting information sources to search the information; creating tabs corresponding to the information sources outside a content browsing area; activating and displaying a tab selected by a user from among the created tabs; and requesting content corresponding to the selected tab. Accordingly, it is possible to efficiently provide users with additional information with respect to the query by providing tabs corresponding to websites which are expected to provide desired information. |
