Disclosed is a method for learning a tip in/out torque filter which provides consistent control response in case that behavior change of a vehicle occurs due to an external factor, by learning a torque filter about tip in/out of an acceleration pedal. The method of the present invention includes the processes of: detecting displacement of an acceleration pedal and engine RPM in a driving state; calculating variation rate of the engine RPM at a corresponding time if tip in or tip out of the acceleration pedal is detected, and extracting time (dt) for the variation rate of the engine RPM to reach an established reference value, sum (S) of variation rates of the engine RPM during a constant period and a maximum value of the engine RPM variation rate; and adjusting to increase the amount of torque filter learning if the time for the variation rate of the engine RPM to reach the established reference value is smaller than a target time through comparison, and adjusting to decrease the amount of torque filter learning if the time is larger than the target time, and then storing the adjusted amount of torque filter learning as a torque filter learning value.
