In the present invention, disclosed are a reflective liquid crystal display device and a manufacturing method thereof. The device includes a first substrate, a reflection layer which is formed on the first substrate, first electrodes which are formed on the reflection layer, a first insulation layer which is formed on the first electrodes, a second substrate which faces the first substrate, a second electrode which is formed on the second substrate, a second insulation layer which is formed on the second electrode, and a liquid crystal layer which is formed between the first insulation layer and the second insulation layer. The second insulation layer includes uneven parts which are formed on the upper side thereof to increase the linearity of incident light from the second substrate to the reflection layer and reflected light from the reflection layer. |
