The device (8) has two longitudinal units (10), where each unit is positionable one above the other on a set of rows of a hardware cabinet. Two cross-pieces (11) are positionable between the longitudinal units at each end of a thermal path i.e. cold path. The cross-pieces are ready to form an approximately rectangular horizontal frame (9) with the units. A band is arranged with a set of sections (12, 13), and each sleeve (20, 21) of the set of sections of the band is ready to receive a ballast (22). The sleeves extend perpendicular to a set of transverse edges (17) of the section of the band. An independent claim is also included for a thermal path.
