A blanket roller for roll printing and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to check a swelling degree of a blanket by using a reference pattern formed on a roller frame and a swell-measuring pattern formed on the blanket, thereby preventing print patterns from being miss-aligned on a substrate. A blanket roller(100) is composed of a roller frame(120) and a blanket(110). The blanket includes a cushion layer(110a) wrapping a surface of the roller frame, a support layer(110b) wrapping the cushion layer and a surface of the cushion layer, and a silicon rubber layer(110c) wrapping the support layer. The roller frame has a bent portion(A) and a hold regulator(130) positioned in the bent portion. A reference pattern(140) is formed on the roller frame, and a swell-measuring pattern(150) is formed on the blanket. The reference pattern and the swell-measuring pattern are disposed correspondingly to each other. When the blanket is put in the bent portion of the roller frame, the hold regulator is controlled so that the reference pattern and the swell-measuring pattern are disposed at the same position correspondingly to each other. |
