<p>Method for detecting a measles virus in an analyte, comprising forming a complex of a first monoclonal antibody being capable of binding to a first epitope of a measles virus nuclear protein and being immobilized on a solid phase, a second monoclonal antibody being capable of binding to a second epitope of a measles virus nuclear protein different from the first epitope and being labeled, and a measles virus nuclear protein contained in the analyte, on the solid phase; and detecting the measles virus based on the amount of the label of the complex formed on the solid phase, is disclosed.
