The present invention relates to a cord broken up (CBU) preventing structure a pneumatic tire for preventing CBU where a carcass cord is cut due to impacts on a tire. The structure is applicable to a pneumatic tire which includes: a tread unit (11) which directly touches the surface of a road and generates friction force; a carcass (12) which forms the frame of a tire, absorbs impacts from bending and stretching, and supports the weight; a bead unit (13) which is combined to the rim (20) of a wheel, fixes the tire, and includes a metal-core bead; an apex (14) which is placed above the bead unit; a side wall (15) which connects the tread unit and the bead unit and improves the driving comfort by forming the lateral side of the tire; an inner liner (16) which is placed inside the carcass and blocks air from leaking; and a belt layer (17) which is placed between the carcass and the tread unit. A CBU strip (18) is placed between the carcass and the inner liner from the bead unit to the apex to prevent impact on the inner liner from being delivered to the carcass. The CBU strip is made from rubber sheets and fiber cords. |
