The method for treating acetonemic syndrome in the children provides for the use of the mineral water Luzhanska-7 for the children aged below 5 years and Poliana Kupel for the children aged above 5 years. The water is degassed at the temperature and used at the ambient temperature for drinking in a volume not more than 50 mL when the first manifestations of acetonemic vomiting are evident. In each following vomiting within 15 minutes, the dose of water is decreased in half, if necessary to 1 mL. The final dose of the mineral water should be maximal but tolerable for the child drinking it at a rate of 1 mL/min with complete effect, namely the absence of vomiting within one hour. Then the dose is increased each 30-40 minutes by 1 mL, then 5 mL each 5 minutes, 10 mL each 10 minutes, until 50 mL. When any dose is ineffective for preventing vomiting within one hour, drinking of mineral water is supplemented with Domperidon in syrup in a volume of 1.25 mL per of body mass. In case of repeated vomiting within 5-20 minutes, Domperidon in syrup is taken once again. When the interval between the next vomiting is superior to 20 minutes, Domperidon is not required. Later on, Domperidon is taken at the conventional dose for 2-3 days. Upon termination of vomiting, the mineral water is used in waking period in a volume of 20 mL for children aged below 5 years and 50 mL for children aged above 5 years every 30 minutes when the appetite is absent or following each meal. |
