PURPOSE: To suppress the inter-bobbin variations in the amt. of liquid, such as oil agent, to be applied and the variations thereof with lapse of time by specifying the mounting position of a pressing member for pressing yarn filament into the yarn filament traveling groove of a liquid applying head of a liquid application guiding device for applying the liquid, such as oil agent, to a synthetic fiber in a stage for producing this fiber. CONSTITUTION: The liquid feed guide in a melt spinning stage has the liquid applying head 1, a yarn filament guiding member 5, the yarn filament pressing member 6 and a head body base part 8. The liquid applying head 1 mounted freely attachably and detachably at this main body base part 8 has a liquid discharge hole 2 communicating with a liquid introducing part 3 and the yarn filament traveling groove 4 extending along the fluid flow discharged from this discharge hole 2. The pressing member 6 of the yarn filament Y is disposed in order to press the yarn filament Y to the yarn filament traveling groove 4 toward the progressing direction side of the yarn filament Y of the liquid applying head 1 and in this case, the pressing member 6 is disposed in such a position where the member is set at 40 to 100mm on the progressing direction side of the yarn filament Y and that the pressing angelθof the yarn filament Y attains 2 to 10 deg. in order to surely press the yarn filament Y.
