An embodiment of the present invention provides a method, for modulating a solar cell, including: a step of preparing a substrate having separated electrode layers; a step of hydrophobic surface processing to form a first hydrophobic surface-processed layer in a part of the surface of the electrode layer; a step of coating a first thermally labile material on the first hydrophobic surface-processed layer; a step of coating an optical absorption layer on the electrode layer to fill a gap between the electrode layers; a step of separating an adjacent optical absorption layer by removing the first thermally labile material as a step of first thermal processing to settle down the optical absorption layer and to remove the first thermally labile material; a step of coating a buffer layer on the optical absorption layer; a step of hydrophobic surface processing to form a second hydrophobic surface-processed layer in a part of the surface of the buffer layer; a step of coating a second thermally labile material on the second hydrophobic surface-processed layer; a step of coating a transparent electrode layer on the buffer layer to fill a separated region of the optical absorption layer; a step of separating an adjacent transparent electrode layer by removing the second thermally labile material as a step of second thermal processing to remove the second thermally labile material from the substrate.
