A method for forming helical internal profiles on thin-walled hollow blanks, in which a thin-walled hollow blank is heated, placed on a mandrel eccentrically mounted relative to a tool, lubricated with metal-working fluid and having a screw profile, the blank is imparted a rotary motion and reduced by a tool, which performs a rotational movement around its own axis, and longitudinal movement along the axis of the mandrel. The thin-walled hollow blank with mandrel is placed eccentrically inside two tools equipped with identical internal operating conical surfaces, which interact with the cylindrical surface of such blank in diametrically opposite locations. |
