The press (1) has a fixed plate and a mobile plate that are carried by a rigid structure. A displacement unit (4) i.e. inflatable pocket, is arranged for displacement of the mobile plate. A heating unit and a cooling unit are arranged for the plates. A side face of a set of thermally conductive strips of a resistant structure i.e. plate, is covered by an electrical resistance heating plate (8) that is intended to come into indirect contact with an object to be pressed. The strips are provided with good heat conductance and air circulating through the strips is cooled.
