PURPOSE: To provide an electrodeless lamp lighting device by which the starting performance of an electrodeless lamp can be improved, a lighting device for the electrodeless lamp, and a lighting system using it. CONSTITUTION: An elctrodeless lamp lighting device is provided with an electrodeless lamp 5 in which a starting auxiliary thin tube 6 is disposed in a light emitting tube, an exciting coil 4 exciting the electrodeless lamp 5, a starting circuit 9 which applies a voltage inducing a glow discharge in a starting auxiliary thin tube 6 at the starting time of the electrodeless lamp 5, and a high frequency generating means feeding a high frequency with an advancing current phase by 90 to 180 degrees from the output voltage phase of the starting circuit 9 to the exciting coil 4. Since the current phase fed to the exciting coil 4 is advanced by 90 to 180 degrees from the output voltage phase of the starting circuit 9, it is possible to obtain the elctrodeless lamp lighting device by which the starting performance of an electrodeless lamp 5 can be improved, and a lighting device for the electrodeless lamp. |
