The present invention relates to an air conditioner having a built-in fan capable of the cooling and tension adjustment. The purpose of the present invention is to prevent the deterioration of a belt and a pulley by releasing heat generated between the belt and the pulley when a fan is driven after the rotation of a fan motor is transferred to the fan using the belt as a power transfer member and is to prevent foreign substances from being inserted into a circulation hole of the pulley for releasing the heat and is to adjust the tension of the belt through the movement of the fan motor. The air conditioner having a built-in fan capable of the cooling and tension adjustment according to the present invention comprises; a frame (1); a fan (30) which is loaded inside a cabinet (2) which is put on the frame; a fan motor (10) installed on the outer side of the cabinet of the frame; a belt (20) which transfers driving force of the fan motor to the fan by being twined around a driving pulley (40) which is axis-bonded to the fan motor, and a driven pulley (50) which is axis-bonded to the fan with an unlimited orbit; and a tension control unit which controls the tension of the belt. The driving pulley and the driven pulley are made of; a hub which is axis-bonded to the driving pulley and the driven pulley; multiple spokes which are formed on a circumference unit of the hub as a radial shape; a rim connected to the end of the spoke; a belt groove which is opened toward a circumference unit of the rim and accepts the belt; multiple circulation holes which passes through the rim and makes the air circulate and cool the belt; and opening and closing buffer piece which is separately combined to the driving pulley and the driven pulley and opens and closes the circulation hole and absorbs vibrations shifted to the driving pulley and the driven pulley.
