Device for producing coded signature or caption for pictures

The device is based on a camera (K), a video camera, with input unit (KL) to allow the coding procedure to be entered and the signature or caption encoded. This input unit can be keyboard or an I.C. card and only authorised people will be able to use the camera and the coding procedure. The procedure selects a programme mode. There is a card reader (KL) and a control unit (SM) for controlling the procedure, while a signal generator (SG) produces the caption. There is a memory (VSP) for the programme and another memory (BSP) for the caption, and an output unit (AM) supplies picture and caption for transmission.
