The present invention relates to an apparatus for automatically extinguishing fire in an engine room, which extinguishes the fire by automatically spraying extinguishing fluid when the fire is generated in the engine room by a collision accident or a spark. The present invention is able to extinguish fire early by automatically spraying the fire extinguishing fluid (fire extinguishing gas + form type fire extinguishing agent) in a tank as the engine room recognizes a fire generation after compressing the fire extinguishing gas and the form type fire extinguishing agent in the tank by propelling gas. For the forementioned, the present invention comprises: the tank (21) which is filled with the fire extinguishing gas (22) and the form type fire extinguishing agent (23) by the propelling gas (24); a valve (26) which is installed in the discharge hole of the tank (21); a siphon pipe (25) which has multiple holes (25a) formed in a position which the form type fire extinguishing agent (23) is positioned while an end part is positioned in the position of the fire extinguishing gas (22) by being connected to the discharge hole of the tank (21); and a discharge pipe (27) which is installed in the edge of the engine room (20) by being connected to one end of the valve in order to apply the pressure of the propelling gas (24) and sprays the fire extinguishing fluid (28) which is mixed by rupturing a notch part as a vehicle body is transformed by forming the notch (27a) at a fixed interval in case of a collision.
