PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antifogging glass article having both of a black ceramic layer and a water-absorbing antifogging film and a method for manufacturing the antifogging glass article, which has good appearance and visibility, excellent antifogging property, excellent durability such as chemical resistance of the water-absorbing antifogging film, in particular, durability such as chemical resistance of the water-absorbing antifogging film formed on the black ceramic layer, and to provide an article for transportation equipment having the above antifogging glass article.SOLUTION: The antifogging glass article includes: a glass substrate; a black ceramic layer formed in a peripheral edge part on at least one main surface of the glass substrate; a water-absorbing antifogging film formed on the main surface in such a manner that a laminate region overlapping with the black ceramic layer is present; and an adhesive layer formed between the water-absorbing antifogging film and the black ceramic layer in at least the laminate region on the main surface. The region where the adhesive layer is formed does not exceed a region comprising the laminate region and its neighboring region. |
