PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a backset to be changed between a 60-mm type and a 50-mm type even when the rotary operation angle of a door knob is set to be a small rotation angle equal to or less than one-eighth turn (45°) in a latch lock of a door.SOLUTION: A latch lock comprises: a hub 4 having a shaft hole 10 through which a rotary shaft of a door knob passes and integrally rotatable with the door knob; a slider 5 having a transmission part 21 which comes into contact with an outer peripheral surface of the hub 4 and advancing/retreating by rotation of the hub 4; a case 3 housing the hub 4 and the slider 5; and a latch body 2 held by protruding from one end of the case 3 and advancing/retreating along with advancing/retreating operation of the slider 5. In the case 3, the hub 4 is movable between a plurality of holding positions different in backset between a door end face and the center of rotation of the hub 4. The transmission part 21 of the slider 5 is formed so as to become a length by which the contact state between the transmission part 21 and the outer peripheral surface of the hub 4 is maintained even when moving the hub 4 between the plurality of holding positions. |
