PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for preparing 3-dihalomethylpyrazole-4-carboxylic acid derivatives and the like represented by the specified formula (I) as intermediates for synthesizing active ingredients of agrochemicals and the like.SOLUTION: The invention relates to a process for preparing 3-dihalomethylpyrazole-4-carboxylic acid derivatives of the formula (I) by reacting α-fluoroamines with acrylic acid derivatives in the presence of Lewis acids to generate vinamidinium salts, and subsequently reacting them with hydrazines. |
