PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assist a suction function of a transnasal endoscope.SOLUTION: An assistive device 12 is used in combination with a transnasal endoscope 11 including an insertion section 16 to be inserted from one external naris. The assistive device 12 has an insertion section 37 to be inserted from the other external naris. The insertion section 37 has a forceps channel in an internal space connected from a tip end to a rear end 40. The rear end of the forceps channel is connected to a suction bulb 39, a forceps entrance 69, and an engagement section 38 provided at the rear end 40 of the assistive device 12 respectively. The suction bulb 39 has a port 45 exposed to the outside, and the port 45 is connected with a suction device 47. In procedures and treatments performed in combination with the assistive device 12, by inserting a treatment tool from the forceps entrance 69 of the assistive device 12 and operating an operation section 31 of the suction valve 39, the forceps channel of the endoscope 11 is used to suck sordes inside the body, body fluids such as blood, and the like. |
