The supercharger (1) has a turbine housing (2) provided with a waste-gate aperture (3) for passage of exhaust gas from an internal combustion engine. A ball valve adjusting element (5) is provided with a ball valve device (6) for adjusting opening degree of the waste-gate aperture. The ball valve adjusting element is more adjustable relative to a valve seat (4). An operating element (18) e.g. drive cam and lever part, is connected with a ball and the valve adjustment element for setting ball valve adjusting position of the ball valve adjusting element relative to the valve seat. An independent claim is also included for a combustion engine.
