A policy control method, device, and system for a data service. The method comprises: obtaining first policy information from a policy and charging rule function network element, the first policy information being decision policy information that needs to be determined and executed based on a service by a policy and charging enforcement function network element (101); when a service request of a user is received, obtaining service information required to match the first policy information in the service request (102); and when the service information meets the first policy information, performing policy control on the service information according to the first policy information (103). Embodiments of the present invention solve the technical problem that the policy and charging rule function network element interacts with the policy and charging enforcement function network element for too many times for policy control on service request information that is frequently changed or policy control associated with a result in the prior art. |
