PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a door stopper to be used regardless of the opening and closing direction of a door.SOLUTION: In a built-in type door stopper, a rack 9 is formed on an engaging part body 6 of an engaging member 2 and a gear 10 engaging with the rack 9 is provided in a housing 7 housing the engaging part body 6. The gear 10 is two-divided in its axial direction, two gears 10 are horizontally inserted from both side faces opposing to each other of the housing 7, respectively, integrally connected together in the housing 7, and can rotate around the axis from either side of both side faces. Thus, when the engaging member 2 is fitted into the inside of a door D, the gear 10 can be rotated at least from one side regardless of the opening and closing direction of the door D, and common application of the door stopper for left and right sides can be achieved. |
