PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a white film excellent in whiteness, reflecting properties, lightweight properties, and thermal dimensional stability, and to provide surface light sources excellent in brightness characteristics by using the white film.SOLUTION: A white film comprises resin particles therein with bubbles formed around the particles. The white film comprises a layer where the number-mean particles diameter Dn of the resin particles is 1.5 μm or less, the resin particles is included in an amount of 0.05 pcs/μmmore, and the proportion of an amount of the resin particles, having diameters of 2 μm or more, is 15% or less. Surface light sources by using the white film is also disclosed. |
