PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote management system in which when heavy load is imposed on managed device such as an image forming device, notification of management information is prevented from being executed.SOLUTION: In an image forming device, log information showing, in time series, a relationship between each state of the own device and time when transition to the state occurred is stored in an NVRAM or an HDD. Thereafter, the stored log information is separated for each time zone (unit time), and a processing treatment for totaling times of respective states of the own device for each time zone is performed. Thereafter, on the basis of the processing result, an assessment is made as to a time zone suitable for notifying management information necessary for management of a management device by the own device, to the management device. Thereafter, the time zone is determined as a notification time zone for management information necessary for the management of the management device, the management information is notified to the management device in the notification time zone. |
