摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a low thermal conductivity in a heat insulation structure of an engine combustion chamber component and suppress deformation of the heat insulation structure due to a combustion pressure, with a simple constitution.SOLUTION: A heat insulation structure includes a heat insulation layer 21 formed on a base material surface of each of a piston 1, a cylinder block 3, a cylinder head 5, and intake/exhaust valves 7, 11 which constitute an engine combustion chamber. The heat insulation layer 21 includes a base layer 23 formed on a surface of a base material 19 and containing hollow particles 31 of inorganic oxide and Si system resin, and a surface layer 25 containing SiOwhich is formed by oxidation of the Si system resin contained in the base layer 23.
