PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flyback converter and a forward converter using a small-sized transformer.SOLUTION: A converter includes: a transformer T1 having a primary coil Np and a secondary coil Ns; a first switch element Q1 connected in series to the primary coil Np; a control circuit Ic for controlling the first switch element Q1; and a first rectifier element D1 for supplying power to the control circuit Ic. A ground Gnd of the control circuit Ic and the first rectifier element D1 are mutually connected to the primary coil Np at different positions. For this reason, downsizing of the converter and reduction in manufacturing cost are achieved. |
