The present invention relates to a distance measuring device using a radar signal and a measuring method thereof. The distance measuring device using a radar signal according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises; a transmission signal producing part for producing multiple radar transmission signals applied to an object; an average value calculation part which calculates an average value of signals received during two hours using an average value of signals received during one hour among multiple radar reflection signals reflected from the object; and a distance calculation part which calculates a distance from the object using the average value of the signals received during two hours. As a result, the present invention calculates an average value of radar signals reflected from the object by the time, extracts a validity signal among the reflected radar signals using the calculated average value, and calculates the distance from the object, thereby reducing a distance measuring error.
