The present invention relates to a micro electric discharge machining apparatus using carbon nanotubes, which is capable of making electrodes having a nano size by using carbon nanotubes (CNT) as electrodes for discharge machining, and thus machining a desired shape on a workpiece accurately. The micro electric discharge machining apparatus for machining a workpiece by generating an electrical discharge in a work gap by power applied from the outside, includes an electrode, which is made of a conductive material, connected to an external power source; a carbon nanotube electrode tip grown at one end of the electrode to extend in one direction and generate an electric discharge. |
