摘要 The present invention relates to a shock absorber which has an attenuation force generation function in an operation completion period of a free piston using a dual flow structure together with an amplitude sensing function by the free piston. According to the present invention, a shock absorber having a cylinder and a piston valve which is connected to a piston rod and partitions the cylinder into a rebound chamber and a compression chamber, includes: an internal flow path for connecting a penetration hole formed on the side of the piston rod and an open hole formed on the bottom of the piston rod; a housing which is combined to the bottom of the piston rod, and has a hollow part inside, and has a bypass hole with a top opened to be connected to the open hole and a bottom linked to the compression chamber; a free piston which partitions the hollow part into an upper chamber and a lower chamber, and is installed to be able to move up and down by fluid flowed into the upper chamber of the lower chamber; a dual flow path part which is formed in the free piston, and comprises a first flow path for the fluid to flow from the upper chamber to the lower chamber and a second flow path for the fluid to flow from the lower chamber to the upper chamber; a valve part which is formed on the top plane and the bottom plane of the free piston, and opens only one of the first flow path and the second flow path selectively depending on the flow of the fluid. Attenuation force is realized when the fluid flows through the first flow path and when the fluid flows through the second flow path.
