PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem on lowering of output of a centrifugal blower due to reduction of fluid energy and increase of a loss due to down-sizing and thinning of the blower.SOLUTION: A casing 2 is composed of a side wall 2b (spiral side wall) having the spiral shape by a prescribed rotating angle on a sub-tongue portion 22a as a base point, projecting to an anti-rotating direction of a multiblade fan 1 with a clearance gap from an outer periphery of the multiblade fan 1, and then having the approximately-linear shape, a suction face 2c vertical to a rotating shaft, and having a suction opening opposed to a side plate 1b of the multiblade fan 1, and a bottom face 2d inclined to a rotating electric machine side from a base point of a scroll to an outlet of the casing 2 while opposed to a main plate 1c of the multiblade fan 1. The multiblade fan 1 is fixed to an output shaft 3a of the rotating electric machine 3 by a nut and the like, and rotated by driving the rotating electric machine 3, and suction flow is generated from an air intake port 1a formed on the side plate 1b. The flow is curved in the radial direction from the direction of the rotating shaft, and flows to the outside in the radial direction by dynamic pressure applied by a blade 1d. |
