PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rock fall protective fence which has high maintainability, a smaller amount of deformation when capturing a rock fall, and improved impact resistance force, without spoiling the function of a ring-type net.SOLUTION: A rock fall protective fence 10 includes: a pillar row consisting of a plurality of props 12-1 to 12-n anchored in a subsoil at predetermined intervals over a required length range on a slope; and a ring-type net 30 stretched by supporting the plurality of props 12-1 to 12-n and constituted by connecting a plurality of ring-shaped members with each other. The rock fall protective fence 10 has, between at least two props of the plurality of props: auxiliary ropes 32 tensioned and laid at a height position between an upper side 30a and a lower side 30b of the ring-type net 30 from the prop 12-1 of one end to the prop 12-n of the other end of the at least two props; and buffer means 50 allowing an elongation of the auxiliary ropes 32 in a predetermined range when a load due to rock fall is applied to them. |
