PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sudden acceleration control device for preventing the frequent occurrence of serious accidents caused by a mistake in pressing an accelerator pedal instead of a brake pedal while driving in a parking lot.SOLUTION: When an accelerator pedal is pressed instead of a brake pedal by mistake, a change rate (a differential coefficient) of an accelerator signal is higher than usual due to an accelerator pedal 21 being pressed more strongly and quickly than the usual operation, and the output voltage of a conversion circuit 4 for a sudden acceleration control device 1 becomes large. When the output voltage becomes higher than a comparison voltage 8 of a comparator 5, a flip flop 10 is preset and a relay 11 is driven. By driving the relay 11, an accelerator signal A23 normally outputted to ECU 25 is switched to voltage 7. If the voltage 7 is preset at 0 or at the idle voltage, the output to ECU 25 is reduced and then a sudden acceleration is controlled. |
