Permanent wave agent for human hair comprises : (A) at least one organic thio compound and/or inorganic sulphite reducing agent ; and (B) at least one organopolysiloxane containing one or more silicon atoms bonded via alkylene groups that contain nitrogen atoms, bonded to a poly(N-acylalkylene imine) group of formula (I). n = 1 - 5 ; and R = H, 1-12C alkyl, cycloalkyl, arylalkyl or aryl.
