Brown coal-based fireplace fuel production

A method of producing fireplace fuel involves: (a) briefly and intensively mixing 65-75 parts dry brown coal, having a particle size of 0-3 mm., a moisture content of <= 18% and a temperature below the melting temperature of paraffin wax, with 25-35 parts molten paraffin wax without heat supply; and (b) compacting the mixture at not more than 10 MPa pressure and moulding to large fuel pieces. Also claimed is an alternative method involving intensively mixing molten paraffin wax with brown coal dust, having a particle size of 0-0.25 mm., a moisture content of not more than 12% and a temperature equal to or higher than that of the paraffin wax, and moulding the mixture at not more than 10 MPa pressure to form small fuel pieces.
