This new textile tensioning device acts in a predetermined direction, between two textiles laid against each other. It comprises a material surface which can be attached, having angled bristles, hairs or scales. As the textiles move back and forth against each other, or are pressed together, they move relatively, in a specific direction, influencing e.g. the hang of the fabric.
