Lens for compact camera

The objective lens is designed as a wide-angle short-focal-length lens for a compact camera. It has four lens groups. The first group (L1) consists of a negative biconcave lens (L1,1). The second group (L2) is a positive two-lens element consisting of a biconvex positive lens (L2,1) with a concave-convex negative lens (L2,2), cemented to its rear surface. The third group (L3) is a three-lens cemented group with a biconcave negative lens (L3,1) followed by a biconvex positive lens (L3,2) followed by a concave-convex negative lens (L3,3). The last lens group (L4) consists of a single strongly curved concave-convex negative lens (L4,1).
