The device (10) has a brake piston (30) movably mounted in a brake cylinder (20) and passed along a movement axis (B). A piston surface (32) is arranged in the brake piston along direction of the movement axis. Another piston surface (34) is radially extending toward the brake cylinder. A partition wall (26) is located in the piston surface of the brake cylinder. A cylindrical space (22) is separated by another cylindrical space (24). An adjusting device (40) adjusts change in volume of the two cylindrical spaces.
