The arrangement (1) has a rotor (3), a stator (4) and a shaft that are concentrically arranged. A housing (5) comprises a cladding region (7), a side wall (8) and a shaft receiver (9) through which the shaft is reached. The housing comprises a coolant spacer (10) for cooling the stator, and a shaft and rotor support (11). The support adapts the shaft retainer to achieve effective operation of the rotor on outer side of the support. The cladding region, the side wall and the support are integrally formed as a single-piece in the housing.
