<p>[Problem] To enable the respective advantages of a conventional integrated cut-off tool, a throwaway cut-off tool, or a chip saw to be obtained while simultaneously eliminating their respective disadvantages. [Solution] A method for manufacturing a cutting tool such as a cut-off tool or a chip saw having a base metal (2) as a metallic main body and a chip (3) attached to the base metal (2), wherein a chip formed by sintering is molded/grinded into the desired shape, after which a film coating (6) is applied by means of PVD, CVD, or the like to the surface of the chip which has been molded/grinded, and then the chip (3) to which the film coating has been applied is integrally welded to the base metal (2) by brazing or the like.</p> |
