PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent surge and reduce loss of a single-phase inverter, and further reduce a required withstand voltage of elements, in a power conversion device.SOLUTION: A power conversion device includes: a PWM arm including semiconductor switches that each perform PWM switching and are connected in series; a polarity inversion arm including semiconductor switches each perform switching when the polarity of an output-voltage command value is inverted and are connected in series; and a DC capacitor connected in parallel to the PWM arm and the polarity inversion arm. The wiring distance between the PWM arm and the DC capacitor is shorter than the wiring distance between the polarity inversion arm and the DC capacitor. |
