PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas diffusion layer for fuel cell constituted of a sheet-like porous member containing conductive particles and polymer resin as major components using no base material composed of carbon fibers, the gas diffusion layer of which has an enhanced strength and reduces the cost by reducing deformation thereof during stack fastening and clack or deformation during handling and which enhances the stability of power out put.SOLUTION: The gas diffusion layer used for polymer electrolyte type fuel cell is constituted of sheet-like porous member containing conductive particles and a polymer resin as major components. The porous member includes an additive resin having a thermal decomposition temperature higher than the firing temperature in the manufacturing process of the gas diffusion layer. |
